That's what Harp Quest Summer Live is about.
2024 Memories
...we play the harp.
Of course! But what makes Harp Quest Summer Live special is that all of our playing and practice and learning is done TOGETHER - no closing yourself in a practice room. You practice by yourself all year. Summer is time to enjoy making music with harp friends!
...we create.
Music isn't just about learning notes and technique. We take advantage of our time at camp to explore, to experiment, to create music together.
...we have fun!
Spending time with friends, whether it's at the harp, around the campfire or in the pool, is the best way to enjoy summertime. And if we get a little silly sometimes, that's ok too!
The Harp Quest Summer Live Experience
At camp, all harp playing is done together, fostering teamwork and creating strong friendships among students. Many past campers have remained close friends. While individual practice is welcome, most harp time is spent learning ensemble pieces and creating a group composition—a highlight each year that blends classical and pop music with theatrics and storytelling. Campers also enjoy crafts, swimming, exploring, evening games, a retirement community concert, and a pizza party for a fun, social week.

Harp Quest Summer Live 2025
Our theme for the 2025 session is Harps-a-Hoy: A Musical Treasure Quest! We will embark on an adventure to discover the secrets of rhythm, harmony, and melody! Campers will explore "musical islands," decode melodic maps, and unlock hidden skills, all while building confidence and friendship along the way. Set sail for a week of creativity, fun, and unforgettable harp treasures!

Anne Sullivan
Founder and Director
"I founded Harp Quest because as a young harpist, summer harp camp impacted my playing more than anything else outside of my lessons. What was most important was that I found harp friends, many of whom are still my friends today. With Harp Quest Summer Live, our purpose is to provide a fun and focused harp ensemble experience for young harpists so they can enjoy making music and having fun with other students that share their love of the harp."
Candace Lark Masucci
Co-Director and Head Instructor
"As a teacher, my goal is to empower students to pursue their musical passion with confidence. At harp camp, we work hard—but perhaps more importantly, we work together. Bringing young harpists together to collaborate and share their love of the harp creates a truly exciting and meaningful experience. I love seeing the growth in our students who return year after year."
Mia Venezia
Staff Instructor
"My passion for teaching stems from a lifelong love of learning and the belief that there’s no single path to harp success. After attending Harp Quest Summer Live for eight years, I love returning as an instructor to inspire students on their unique musical journeys."
